Kailash Kher (born 7 July 1973) is a famous Indian musician, composer, and vocalist. He sings in the style of music that is influenced by Indian folk music as well as Sufi music. He was influenced by traditional musicians’ Pandit Kumar Gandharva, Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, and the Qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

Kailash Kher received the Padma Shri award in 2017 from the Indian government. He also has received two Filmfare Awards for Best Male Playback Singer, One for his performance in film Fanaa (2006) and as well as another in Mirchi, a Telugu film Mirchi (2013) as well with a host of other nominations.
